Tangatanga faithfuls are up in arms.Their arms are full.And in this arm race the mangamanga squad is beating itself to a pulp.The reason is this.Raila in a show of his changed fortune and as if to confirm how plenty he sits with the circle of power has ordered that the drilling taking place in the ocean should stop in order to improve both visibility and chances of recovering the bodies of the woman and her child from Likoni channels.(The bodies were retrieved after this order)
Politically, I have said it here, many times President Uhuru has a very big streak of Machiavellism in him.Look at how he is pulling moves to appease Raila and keep peace and the same times making angry someone very close and who thought that the hot chair is his to inherite.
Just recently the President was quoted saying that he cannot sacrifice the unity of the country at the behest of party politics. As usual the Tangatanga,the mangamanga-ring brigade played dumb to the president utterance though it was definitely meant for their ears.Or if they heard him ,they privately dismissed it as irrelevant though they got the gist of the president utterance.
Of course Raila could not have made such an order out of blues. He had a go ahead. Needlessly to say the Tangatanga battalion are still smarting from Raila’s audacity to play the big man.Times change.How will the president play the hotly contested succession?

And politician pays in kind.Same coin.As Dp and his squad fast religiously on Wednesdays one prayer is surely on their mind, “O God let Raila be our star opponent, for he knows how to lose and he is easily pacified by appeasement.”
The camp also do know that if Uhuru happen to prop Raila then they shall have an easy time portraying him as a project and part of a nefarious and vexatious scheme of furthering the dynasties interest. This duo therefore needs to mine a new face.
